The successful candidate would be expected to carry out electrical testing to a variety of commercial and domestic locations in and around the south east of England. Regular price work would be made available. The candidate must be able to work from their own initiative, you must also be willing to work nights and weekends when required. Reliability, presentation and time keeping would be monitored, ensuring our clients receive the greatest possible service.
You would report daily to our Compliance Department and would receive instructions from one of our helpdesk team. Clear communication is of paramount importance when dealing with clients and our helpdesk.
The candidate should be fully conversant with the 17th edition and qualified to a minimum of City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent. Due to the nature of the role, the candidate should be well presented and have excellent people skills.
Proof of qualification will be required along with references from previous employment.
It would be preferred if the candidate lived within a 15 mile radius of our office in Stevenage.
The candidate would be expected to join the existing call out rota.
A company vehicle will be provided, along with required plant and equipment.
Regular evening and weekend overtime is available along with frequent opportunities to work in the Middle East.
