Electrical contractor completes London To Brighton bike ride raising over £2,000 for a local charity.

Stevenage based Best Electrical took on the challenge of the London to Brighton Bike Ride and successfully raised over £2,000 for a local charity; Hertfordshire Children’s Fund. Established in 2005, Best Electrical work in the retail, commercial and industrial environments offering planned and reactive maintenance services, 365 days a year.

Darren Long, Director of Operations at Best Electrical, said: ‘We made the decision in May to complete this year’s London to Brighton Bike Ride with the aim of raising money for a local charity. After speaking with the volunteers at Hertfordshire Children’s Fund we were made aware that there are numerous disadvantaged families in the area who struggle to provide even the basics for their families, items such as bedding, baby equipment and washing machines, basics that many others take for granted.’

Johanna Mason of Hertfordshire Children's Fund, said: 'They say 'no pain, no gain!' Well, Best Electrical from Stevenage certainly took the pain by cycling from London to Brighton to raise money for vulnerable children in Hertfordshire. It's great that we can all help these children in such a direct, practical way. Thank you to Best Electrical and to all their generous sponsors!'
