WEEE Directive — Services — Best Electrical Service Team

Services - WEEE Directive

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive (WEEE Directive) was introduced in January 2007 to reduce the amount of electrical and electronic equipment being produced, to encourage everyone to reuse and recycle.

Lamps being stored ready for recycling at our head office, which is a registered waste transfer site.

At Best Electrical, we are dedicated to making a difference. Thats why we follow the WEEE Directive to recycle as much materials and waste as possible.

As we are registered waste carriers and a registered waste transfer site, we can dispose of any item covered by the WEEE Directive. For our existing clients we dispose of any hazardous lamps or emergency lighting batteries free of charge. We will always provide certification to show the waste has been disposed of correctly.

We are also proud to announce that we will now dispose of any florescent tubes or lamps free of charge, for any local charity or school. Click here to find out more.
